The smaller elegant Royal hunting forests of Melrose, Ettrick and Falkland give their names to the ribbed vases. The striped brass and bronze vase named for Falkland Palace in Fife, a favourite hunting lodge of The Scottish Kings, its sumptuous renaissance decoration carried out by French artisans.
